Prabhas 'Rebel' set for Ugadi release

Young Rebel Star Prabhas's upcoming Rebel under the direction of choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence is being planned for the Telugu New Year, Ugadi (March 23).
The film which is progressing at a brisk pace has Tamannaand Deeksha Seth paired with the 'Varsham' star for the first time. An out and out commercial entertainer, Lawrence is aiming to show Prabhas in a new avatar.
The director is returning to direction in Telugu after the flop show, 'Don' with Nagarjuna. Veteran actor and Prabhas's uncle Krishnam Raju is playing an important role in the film.
Music sensation S S Thaman is composing for the film which is produced by J Pulla Rao and J Bhagawan on Balaji Cine Media Banner.

Prabhas-Koratala Shiva film is Vaaradhi?
The producers of Koratala Siva’s film with Prabhas as the hero have reportedly registered the title of Vaaradhi. The movie is being produced on UV Creations banner and the movie’s shooting is currently going on. Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay are the heroines in this project.
The movie is an action entertainer, say sources. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the tunes for this film and the film will get ready for release next year. This is Koratala Siva’s first project as a director. He has worked as a dialogue writer for a number of successful Telugu movies in the past.

Dil Raju favored NTR film over Prabhas!

Dil Raju is considered as that kind of a producer who relies more on script and direction rather than believing in star cast. Majority of hit films from his banner are made with B and C grade heroes. Rarely did he try with Prabhas, Junior NTR and Allu Arjun. The nightmarish film in Dil Raju career is ‘Munna’ with Prabhas in the direction of Vamsy Paidipally that was a big dud.
Even then Dil Raju made Vamsy to come up with a family entertainer ‘Brindavanam’ for Junior NTR that was a roaring hit last year. Now, the same combination of Vamsy and Dil Raju is coming up with one more entertainer for ramcharan, say reliable sources.
Dil Raju is known to have issued a strict warning to Vamsy to come up with a script like NTR’s ‘Brindavanam’ but not of Prabhas ‘Munna.’ Accordingly Vamsy cooked up a village backdrop love story with enough emotions for ramcharan. Shooting of the film will start once ‘Racha’ will be done.
